Site Explanation

(written in October of 1999)
I thought this up while starring into the empty void of the highway while driving back from the Grand Canyon. The road stretched far beyond sight and all I had to really concentrate on was the two-lane highway ahead of me leading towards the tangerine sunset fading into a blue and then purple sky behind me. My mind began to wander.

A dust cloud raced across the empty desert floor headed in the same direction as me. I remember thinking to myself how strange that was; a dust storm and I were headed in the same direction. It helped put things into perspective; we are all headed in their own direction but in the same direction, moving forward, just like that dust storm.

Pretty deep huh? Well, one thought lead to another and that thought lead to yet another and soon after I concluded, as I finished my can of Pringles, I should have a cool web site to keep in touch with our family and friends and that I should also pull over to use the restroom. I used the closest thing to a restroom out in the middle of nowhere, and now I’m starting that cool website.
