Golf in Van Nuys
Well woke up early today to go play golf at the Van Nuys Golf Course. Jonn and I played the 9 hole course with our tee time at 730am. That only meant that I needed to get up by 5am to leave the house at 530am to arrive in Glendale at around 630am, pick up Jonn and get to the course by 7am, warm up and on the 1st tee at 730am. It all worked out and we got there before the course even opened.
I was able to par the first 2 holes, birdie the 3rd, then it was down hill from there. Even with decent drives off of the tee I was able to 3-putt and doubled the 4th and 5th holes. Shot 1 over on the 6th and bogied 7th and 8th. To stop the bleeding I was able to par the 9th and walk away with a 6 over par.
Final Scores: Jonn 43, Adrian 36.
Not bad for not playing for about 5 months. We will have to get out there again soon. It was a good-time.
